Experience education like never before.

The Stonington district consists of four schools serving about 2,000 students across the community, including Stonington, Pawcatuck, Lord’s Point, Wequetequock, and parts of Mystic and Old Mystic. The renovated Deans Mill and West Vine Street elementary schools serve preK-5 students with a strong focus on core subjects and the arts. Stonington Middle School offers a variety of encore classes like photography, forensic science, and public speaking, while also providing robust music and drama programs. Stonington High School, recognized for academic excellence, recently earned a spot on the AP District Honor Roll and offers extensive extracurricular activities and competitive sports. The district also boasts strong community partnerships with organizations like Mystic Seaport, Electric Boat, and the Mystic Aquarium, enhancing student learning and providing internship opportunities.
